Kev completed the 3 Peaks climb on 20th May 2011 together with 3 others. He went up Ben Nevis, Scaffell Pike and Snowden - all in 24 hrs! It wasn't easy and Kev's pain was being felt by all who were following him on Facebook, but he did really well and completed it as planned. He raised a wonderful £510. Thanks Kev - don't think we will be joining the next challenge, they seem to be getting more difficult!

Various members of Andi's family and friends completed either the 16 or the 26 mile Waendel Cycle on Saturday 14th May 2011. They raised the grand total of £1489.20. Several of the group completed the course by not putting their feet on the ground from start to finish and others walked up the hills and rode down! Every one of them had a fantastic time and felt a huge sense of achievement. Thanks to Dot too for combining the congratulation bbq with her birthday party. Well done everyone!!

Steve had a very busy couple of weeks, taking part one weekend in the Shakespeare Marathon (8th May 2011) and then.......being in the first three back of 'team Andi Bull' in the Waendel Cycle(14th May 2011). In total, he raised £ 501.20 for the ABC Trust! Well done Steve!

Andi's friends and family all worked together to raise a fantastic £522.30 at two car boot sales over the Easter weekend 2011. A special thanks to those who donated their 'treasures' and to those who supported us by setting up, selling and packing away afterwards or by visiting us during the events.

Rob and James ran the London Marathon on 17th April 2011. Despite being footsore and a pulled hamstring, both completed the race and raised a fantastic £1315. Well done to you both!

Kirsty ran the London Marathon on April 17th 2011. She did extremely well, running it in a very respectable 5 hrs and 44 minutes! She was sponsored for the trust as well as another charity and has raised £1144.20. Not only that, she asked that the collection from the Glendon and District Scouts' St George's Day Service, which was held on the same day as the marathon, went to the ABC Trust! A very generous £258 was donated to the trust. Thank you to all the scout group at St Andrew's Church Kettering for making us so welcome at their AGM when they presented us with the collective cheque. Thanks so much to Kirsty for being such an active fundraiser.

Karen, a fellow scouter from Corby, who took part in Andi's Scout Guard of Honour, has recently celebrated her birthday with a big '0' party. She asked family and friends not to buy her presents, but to contribute to Andi's charity in honour of him and all the fun that Karen shared with him over the years at scouting events. She raised £420 to continue Andi's good work. Thank you so much for your generosity Karen.
