Who Are We?

We are The Andi Bull Cancer Trust, a charity who support local hospitals and young people (aged 13-30) undergoing cancer treatment. Charity number 1139471. 

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, to make a donation, to buy something from our online store, to contact us via email/message or if you subscribe to receive our newsletters.

If you are a young person/hospital making an application to receive a gift/donation from us, we will obtain information through our Grant Application form.
We also obtain information via the website, email or by paper submission for Gift Aid purposes.

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address and information regarding which pages are accessed and when. If you make a donation online or purchase a product from us, your financial information is not held by us; it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

  • process a donation that you have made;
  • process orders that you have submitted;
  • dealing with entries into a competition;
  • seek your views or comments on the services we provide;
  • notify you of changes to our services;
  • send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about campaigns, appeals, other fundraising activities and events;
  • process a grant application.

We review our retention periods for personal information on an annual basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfill our statutory obligations (for example, the collection of Gift Aid). If you have agreed for The Andi Cancer Trust to claim Gift Aid on your behalf, then your information may be shared with HMRC.
